Helping Hands is seeking dedicated teachers and medical professionals to volunteer with us in Nepal. Teachers are invited to support Surya Secondary Boarding School or schools in surrounding districts, with opportunities to teach any subject and any grade level; we strongly encourage a commitment of at least five months to foster meaningful impact and continuity.
Medical professionals from all specialties are welcome to volunteer for as little as two weeks or for extended periods, working in hospitals or participating in free village health camps that bring essential care to rural communities.
In addition to their service, volunteers have the opportunity to engage deeply with local culture through Himalayan hikes, home-stays, farm work, and visits to temples and historic sites—creating a rich exchange of learning, service, and connection.
