HELPING HANDS - NEPAL

Helping Hands Nepal was established along with Helping Hands USA as both worked as interdependent organizations at both ends. Helping Hands Nepal’s main office is located at the Chabahil permanent clinic and is led by Dr. Shyam Shrestha, the Medical Director of the organization.

Quality health care is limited in Nepal therefore, there is a need for all types of medical professionals.  The services of the following health care specialists are especially needed:

• Pediatrician

• Dentists

• OB/GYN

• Ophthalmologists

• Nurses

• Public Health Specialists

• General Practitioners

• Water Sanitation Specialists

Helping Hands also welcomes medical students to gain a unique experience in the Third World medicine.  Additionally, Helping Hands has positions for many non-medical volunteers in administration and other general assistance positions.
